Automatyka-Pomiary-Sterowanie S.A (APS SA) has developed a project, and then made a system of continuous measurement of gas and particulate emissions from the chimney No. 2 in Elektrociepłownia Białystok S.A. The task has been carried out within the framework of the consortium APS - OMC ENWAG.
- design
- delivery and calibration of measuring equipment
- assembly of instrumentation systems
- start-up of systems
- optimization
- obtaining the consent and approval of WIOŚ [Regional Inspectorate for Environmental Protection] and the Marshal's Office for the system of continuous emission measurement of gases and dust from the flue boilers No. 2 in the power plant in Białystok
- taking comparative and calibration measurements by the company having valid accreditation of the Polish Accreditation Centre for conducting this type of research
The installed system for continuous measurement of emissions of pollutants released into the atmosphere has been made in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Environment of 23 December 2004 on the requirements for emission measurements and of 20 December 2005 on emission standards of installation, such as:
- The concentration of NO x in the exhaust gas (measured in IR)
- The concentration of CO in the exhaust gases (measured in IR)
- The concentration of CO2 in the exhaust gas (measured in IR),
- The concentration of SO 2 in the exhaust gas (measured in IR)
- The concentration of O2 in the exhaust gas (electrochemical measurement),
- The concentration of dust (optical)
- Humidity factor (calculated)
- exhaust gas flow rate (calculated)
- exhaust gas temperature,
- exhaust pressure.
Emissions visualization system allows to read current data. Current data is only used for process visualization. Interim data is the basis for creating reports and making additions to the settlements of the emission to the Office of Environmental Protection.
